Emerald Hills is composed of two long-dormant parcels along the north side of Stirling Road in Hollywood are set to be transformed into a $125 million luxury housing development.
The city recently approved plans for the mix of 117 homes and town homes priced from the low $600,000’s to more than $1 million.
The site is about a mile west of Interstate 95 between the Arapahoe Farms and Hollywood Oaks developments.
MG3 Development Group and its partner, Brookman Fels, expect to break ground and launch sales in the next three months, said Keith Poliakoff, a lawyer for the developers.
“This will be the nicest, newest community in Hollywood since the recession,” Poliakoff said. “You wouldn’t have been able to even think about a development like this six years ago.”
